Course Outline

Part 1- Online Heartcode BLS Course (1-2 Hours)

Part 2- In Person Skills (1-2 Hours)

*Students must bring a copy of their Heartcode BLS course completion certificate in order to participate in the Skills Session*

 

Upon successful completion of the hands-on skills session, participants receive a 2-year American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, accepted nationwide by hospitals, healthcare facilities, and licensing programs.

How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Effective ventilations using a barrier device and bag valve mask

1-rescuer and 2-rescuer CPR techniques
